AntiAging Diet and Care

Earlier we talked about an antiaging diet and there seems to be more interest in learning more about an anti-aging lifestyle which is basically an antiaging diet combined with antiaging care. Though there is no way to stay looking young forever there are several steps that can be taken to retain one's youthful looks and to feel younger.

People often want that "magic" pill, cream, or lotion that wisks years off their body. Unfortunately, that doesn't exist. What DOES exist is taking control of how fast you age by changing habits. First let's look at how you eat followed by simple steps to change your lifestyle.

AntiAging Diet

We already talked about eating breakfast, not overeating, and chewing your food well. Those are the basics. Here we are delving deeper into what foods to eat.

Eating whole foods are known to help your health. The less processed, the better as these foods tend to help you avoid harmful chemicals. Fresh vegetables, fruits, seafood and nuts also provide many needed nutrients essential for having a healthy body. The easiest antiaging system one can think of is to trade in high processed foods for more natural foods. Basically, cut out junk food and large portions of processed sweets out of your diet.

Why are these whole foods so good for antiaging? They contain antioxidants. Antioxidants are sometimes called the "Antiaging Secret". An antioxidant prevents free radicals from causing damage to good cells. Antioxidants are very common and EASY to incorporate into your diet. Most fruits (especially berries), vegetables, and seafood contain antioxidants. Besides helping you stay younger longer, antioxidants generally prevent diseases such as heart diseases, chronic infections, cataracts, stroke, Alzheimer's disease and even cancer.

We know most people aren't willing to cut out all junk food. So, instead of thinking of depriving yourself of all junk food -- just eat less of it and more of the food your body will thrive on. To make up for the deficiency, supplement with antioxidants and omaga 3 oils.

AntiAging Care

Besides eating right, there are several additional steps you can take to keep your body looking young. We all want to live longer with a healthy body.

Though being in the sun provides essential vitamin D, it also ages your skin. Either limiting your exposure to sun or wearing sunscreen prevents this damage, so adding sunscreen to your arsenal of age preventing lotions, is highly recommended. If you use sunscreen that also moisturizes your skin, you can prevent sun damage and keep your skin properly hydrated at the same time.

Quitting smoking is also recommended as it too ages you. Smoking leads to early leathery and wrinkled skin. But, it CAN be easy to quit with hypnosis or other treatments. Additionally, it will save you lots of money to use later in life.

Getting adequate sleep is essential for staying young. Just think about how people look (and act!) when they don't have enough sleep. Plan your day so you get enough rest and your body will thank you for it.

We all know that reducing stress is an important part of an antiaging regimen. But how can you do that easily? You can simply walk more. Exercise is also essential for antiaging - so why not use it to reduce stress at the same time. Many people find that simply walking more reduces stress easily. Take stairs, park a little further, and walk instead of drive. Following these ideas, all add up to better health and less stress.

So staying healthy and young is simple when practicing these antiaging diet and care steps.
