Premier Massage Chair
Premiere Massage Chairs is based in Broomfield, CO. Their website is http://www.premiermassagechairs.org/
The Premiere line of chairs seem to be pretty popular and various reviews say that it gives a rather deep
massage. Not quite what you'd get from your masseuse, but good enough. Limiting it to 15 minutes or so, and walking around a bit afterwards, is recommended.
It's one of the more expensive massage chairs around, but it's fully featured and, despite being rather homely, seems to do the job well. For example, the model carried exclusively by Amazon.com, which is available in six colors, costs (as of this writing) about $2600. For that amount of money you get:
- A completely programmable massage chair
- two deluxe and seven auto/manual settings
- an overall or partial massage, in case your knots are in just one area
- Six rollers for kneeding, rolling, squishing, mashing, and generally working your body like bread dough.
- Heat is provided, of course, the the foot rest takes care of massaging calves and the feet.
- The chair angle can easily be adjusted and it even comes with casters so the teenagers can steal it and roll it into their rooms (locking the doors.)
Premier's top of the line model lists for about $4500 and is made in association with the Japanese chair maker Inada. This chair is the Inada i.2A and its claim to fame is that it uses optical sensors to measure the exact contours of your body and give you a massage tailored to you and not just someone larger or smaller.
All of the Premier chairs come with 5 year warranties. Do you think your savings im masseuse fees over those five years will more than equal the cost of the chair? Let's see... My wife's last massage was $60 for the hour. 30 hours of massage over a year or two comes to $3,000. While it won't by an i.A2 it will buy Amazon's chair and leaves enough left over for a pile of books.

Relax The Back also carries a couple of the Premier Massage Chairs, exclusive to their store, so they're different from the Amazon models.
If you want to try one of these things out you might have to look around to find one in a local store. The Sharper Image, Brookstone, and others carry their brands (which ain't bad.) Climb into one and check it out. See if it fits you and if it fits into your budget.
