The Facts About Diamonds

Diamonds are forever and are a woman's best friend. They're the hardest substance known, over four times harder than the #2 contender, yet can be easily cut into incredibly beautiful gems. They're made out of common carbon, but no one will compare them to graphite or coal, both also carbon.

Diamond is more transparent than glass and is transparent to a wider range of light wavelengths than any other material, by far. It also conducts heat better than anything and doesn't melt until the temp is over 3800 degrees Kelvin (6400 degrees fahrenheit.) That's even hotter than Death Valley in mid-summer!

If you're lucky enough to be born in April then the diamond is your birthstone. If you or an associate does crystal healing then you'll know that the diamond is a very powerful crystal.
