Various kinds of sleep aids are available from all kinds of sources. Everything from a fine mattress (and that Stearns and Foster mattress felt soooo good!) to drugs that help you fall asleep. There are some times in our lives when we feel as if we should have been taught how to fall asleep. Nighttime rest is crucial to everyday function but it can be very difficult to get especially if you suffer from occasional insomnia. Onyx for Protection

At the suggestion of someone on the net, I just tried using Mexican onyx next to my bed to see if I slept better. Though I love Mexican onyx (I have since I've been a child) -- I never tried using it therapeutically before.

Well, since the only Mexican onyx I had in the house was carved animals and mushrooms -- I used them. I placed them by my headboard and slept. It felt wonderful. From an energetic point of view, the onyx protected my space. If you are feeling like "others are in your space", the onyx seems to clear that feeling and help sleep come easier and deeper. It is a wonderful tool.


Opalite Jasper for Resolutions

Opalite Jasper is an old friend. I've used this many many times to help me find the cause of problems in my life. It is easy to use for sleeping better. Place a necklace of Opalite jasper beads by your headboard -- or on part of your body -- and dream. It very much helps one understand *why* something is happening. Often that resolution will help you stop worrying - and sleep.


Aquamarine for Comfort and Love

Aquamarine reminds one of an ocean of love and mercy. I find it extremely comforting and supportive. If you are grieving or sad -- or want to let go of anger or fear, this stone has a wonderful calming affect. Either stare into an unirradiated aquamarine stone -- or wear a set of aquamarine beads before bedtime. Then, place the aquamarine next to you before bedtime asking it to help you accept the love/support that it can give.
